A Unique Feature of this Course
o
-
Violin making is, of course, a craft — but my true passion has always been around tone and sound production. It is easy to become caught up in textbook technicalities and end up simply building a wooden box rather than an instrument capable of song.
-
Before you decide, I know there are many courses and options available. What I hope to offer here is something closer to an apprenticeship.
-
Throughout the course, you will be able to ask questions directly and receive personalized graduation and thickness measurements tailored specifically to your individual piece of wood. Together, drawing upon my decades of experience, we will work toward creating a violin with beauty, character, and a truly singing tone.
One Module at a Time

Not ready to commit to the full course? The first four modules are available individually, including full forum access and personal support. Many students start with a single module and later upgrade to the full course.

A Note on Pricing
o
Establishing a pricing structure for this course has not been straightforward. I am deeply aware that students come to this craft from all corners of the world, with very different financial circumstances, and that exchange rates and economic realities vary enormously from country to country. What feels modest in one place can feel completely out of reach in another.
What I do know is that the desire to learn this craft knows no borders. I have tried to honor that by making the course as accessible as I reasonably can. My goal has never been simply to maximize what I can charge, but to share what took me a lifetime to learn with those who genuinely wish to learn it.
